Day 0
- If there is any swelling, apply an ice pack to the area for 15 minute sessions.
- Do not apply aftercare product to your lip area for at least 2 hours following your treatment. After 2 hours blot the lips with sterile water wipes to cleanse any dried up lymph post procedure. After this step has been carried out, you may apply a light layer of healing balm to the lips.
- Do not eat for at least one (1) hour after the procedure.
- Refrain from licking lips.
Day 1 – Day 3
- Swelling, oozing, and some redness are normal the next day after the procedure for some clients.
- Apply aftercare product gently with a cotton swab 3 to 5 times a day.

Day 4 – Day 7
- Continue doing all of the above.
- Some of the permanent lip color will flake slightly. Under no circumstances should you pick, scratch or rub the treated area or attempt to remove the crusty material. Removing of the crusts may result in the removal of the actual pigment and/or infection may occur. Let flaking occur naturally. With early removal of pigment, flakes may result in areas with insufficient pigment.

- Do not expose your treated area to direct sun, tanning treatments, jacuzzis, saunas, salt water, chlorinated pools.
- Do not receive bleaching, waxing, electrolysis or laser hair removal treatments close to your treated area.
